1 Corinthians 15:3–8,1 Corinthians 15:14-19 Today is Easter Sunday and I want to emphasize the importance of the resurrection of Christ to our Christian Faith. Easter means the resurrection of Jesus from the dead! It means the promise of life after death! It means hope of a better life. It means joy. The resurrection of Jesus is the basis of our faith.   If Jesus didn’t rise from the dead then we’re just wasting our time here. The words, “He is not here, but He is risen”, changed the course of history! And they continue to do so. Let us take a look at why the resurrection is so important to us. Easter means victory. He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God. Romans 4:25 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.4.25.NLT As today is good Friday, remember that you have been ransomed by the precious blood of Jesus. His blood was the payment that led to our deliverance from the bondage of sin and death. The death of Jesus Christ resulted into a  new life for us. Happy good Friday to you all

So to the discussion of today; The power in the blood of Jesus has provided everything we need to live a life of victory including redemption, fellowship, protection and authority over the devil. God is love and the greatest expression of His love towards us is the blood of Jesus. That love covers every need man has had or ever will have and every time we apply the blood, we experience an outpouring of His love. We have redemption through the blood of Jesus [Ephesians 1:7].
