THE POWER IN HIS BLOOD

The power in the blood of Jesus has provided everything we need to live a life of victory including redemption, fellowship, protection and authority over the devil.
God is love and the greatest expression of His love towards us is the blood of Jesus. That love covers every need man has had or ever will have and every time we apply the blood, we experience an outpouring of His love.
We have redemption through the blood of Jesus [Ephesians 1:7]. Adam &Eve sinned and that led to to the curse and man was separated from God. But God had a plan and His plan is redemption which required a much greater sacrifice- the blood of His son Jesus. The greatest thing the blood of Jesus accomplished was redemption.
It washed all our sins away and made us clean, pure, it redeemed us. So from the moment you receive Jesus as your Lord and personal Savior, God will not remember any past sin in your life and that’s how powerful the blood is. The best and interesting part is you don’t have to earn and pay, the best thing is to joyfully accept and receive this free gift.
This truth is expressed in this hymn; Nothing but the blood;
What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Oh precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus……..
In addition to being redeemed from sin, the blood also set us free from the curse of the law-GALATIANS 3:13. What then is curse?  The curse is death, sin, sickness, lack, depression, addictions, etc. So as you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you were free from the curse.
Fellowship with God through the blood of Jesus [ Hebrews 10:19]. [Fellowship is closeness; a friendship and that’s what we have with God through the blood of Jesus. Before Adam fell in the Garden of Eden, he had enjoyed friendship and fellowship with God and after Adam’s fall, sin separated us from this precious fellowship and could only be restored through the blood of Jesus. When you receive Jesus as your Lord and savior, you declare that you want to receive His fellowship and friendship and the door is opened for you to enjoy it. Because of the power of the blood of Jesus, you can come boldly into the presence of God because you are no longer far away from God.
It is because of the blood of Jesus Christ we have the privilege of pouring our hearts out to God – Psalms 62:8, casting out our cares on Him[1Peter 5:7] an praying anytime in the power of the spirit[Ephesians 6:18]
Protection [Exodus 12:13]. The blood of the lamb is inexhaustible and never ending. It is an unlimited supply. When we apply the blood of Jesus to the doorposts of our lives in faith, we access the power to defeat every part of the curse that tries to take residence. Apply the power of the blood of Jesus over your life and family and watch every danger pass you.
Authority over the devil – Because of the blood Christ sacrifice and the pouring out of His blood, we can trust in the righteousness of Christ when we are accused by our enemy. Revelation 12:11 says; and they have conquered him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…..   The blood is our defense, it declares we are not guilty, instead we are free from all penalty of sin. The blood kicks devil out of the affairs of our lives. Every day you have the right to exercise that authority by pleading what the blood has done for you. Refuse to give the enemy even one inch of territory. Satan is a defeated foe and through the precious blood of Jesus, we are victorious.
When you receive revelation that the blood of Jesus has provided all of these things; redemption, fellowship, protection, authority over the devil, you will begin to operate in the fullness of its power. And that’s why we have a reminder through the celebration of EASTER. We are reminded of what the workings of the blood and what it can do in our lives.
Our REDEMPTION is by the blood of Christ.
Our RECONCILIATION TO GOD is through the blood of Christ.
The only CLEANSING that fits us for God’s presence is through the blood of Christ.
SANCTIFICATION is through the blood of Christ.
We have the RIGHT OF ENTRANCE to the Holy of Holies through the blood.
We have VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL through the blood.
