ESSENCE OF FREEDOM

Hello friends, today I will be discussing on the essence of freedom and how to be free, be blessed.

What then is the essence of freedom;

* The essence of freedom is HOLINESS and the end result of it then is ETERNAL LIFE  - Romans 6:22

* It helps us to be free from the law of sin and death -Romans 8:2

* We are now called sons and daughters of God- Romans 8:15

Having looked into the essence of freedom, so how then can we experience this freedom, kindly follow me in this.

HOW CAN WE BE FREE

1. CONFESSION
Acknowledge your sins and
confess to God. Admitting that you are slaves to sin. Acknowledge your brokeness and come out clean to God.

2. ABIDING (John 8:31b)
True freedom will not attack you, rather you must respond to God's invitation to accept His freedom and this is done by abiding in His word, that is dwelling. This is not done through casual glance at the claims of Christ but one must be willing to dwell in the word of God. It is not a 30 day trial of faith or 12weeks bible study but it is rather a continuous thing.
He offers freedom to those who abide in His word, so it is advisable to do so.

3. KNOW THE TRUTH AND APPLY(John 8:32)
The more you understand the truth, the more you will be free from darkness of ignorance and deception that is widespread today.

More so, there is a need to apply the truth also. Examine all factors that leads to sin and enslavement, stay clear of any place or scene that triggers sin.

Change your pattern of life and remember this - 1Corinthians 6:12

4. Realize that Jesus wants you to be free - John 8:36

  The month of May is my birth month and I will be taking you  through the series; MY FREEDOM/RECOVERY PROCESS. This was laid in my heart to share.
