MAINTAINING SEXUAL PURITY

Hello FAM

I hope you are getting enlightened, so still on the series 'Sexual purity', I will be discussing today what to do to maintain our sexual purity.

God is committed to our sexual purity(1Thessalonians 4:3-5) so how do we then stay pure in this world we find ourselves today.

You can't want to maintain sexual purity and have posters hanged
around on your walls that promotes sexual impurity. We need to think in terms of what choices we are making that are exposing us to sexual impurity.

So what are the things to do;

1. Fill yourself with His word (Joshua 1:8)
This is highly important, it keeps you and not get you wondering away into something immoral . More so the more of His word in your life ,the more you live your life after His word.

2. Fill your life with His people
This will help you because they also know what Gods will is , and so they can help, guide and direct you.

3. Retreat from the world
If we don't,we will encounter seductive lies.
Remember we are in this world and not of this world. We can't live our lives after the patterns of this world but rather according to Gods will.

4. Fill your mind with things that are pure(Philippians 4:8)

5.1Corinthians 6:18 Flee from the dangerous enjoyment of sexual pleasure outside of Gods wise design for its enjoyment in marriage.

6. Obey the desires and commands of God in all that you do. 1Peter 1:14-16

This is a wise decision for you to keep your self . Through Gods help and the choices you make,you can be sexually pure.
