REVIVING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable.


In the quest to reviving your relationship with God,there should be a clear purpose driving you.


What is the purpose of having a relationship with God?


Do you even see and know the need of being in a relationship with God?


One of the things I have come to understand is,if you have not come to the place of knowing,then little or nothing can be done to avert a change.


Why do you want to have a relationship with God? Is it because of gains, what if he doesn't give you all that, would you still remain in that relationship?


Being in a relationship with God is much more than what you can envisage. 


And so being in a relationship with  God is important because He is your Father. How do expect to call someone your father and not have a personal relationship with Him, not possible right?


God is your father and so a need to have a close relationship with him.


And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Isaiah 64:8 NLT


And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

2 Corinthians 6:18 NLT



You also need to be in a relationship with God because He wants that,he desires that


Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NLT



One way to learn of the father and know his will and more so follow his will is to be in a personal relationship with him.


You can't learn of your Father, knows how he leads you,talks to you or hear him without a close contact.


The father only reveals to a true son


There are some levels you would be able to touch and operate on if only you know God's will for your life.


And because you are running with God's will for your life,there is access to ease and more revelation.


So when you are aware of the purpose of having a relationship with God,then reviving it when you have lost it due to your negligence,makes meaning to you.


You would want to revive it by all cost. 


And if peradventure,you don't even have a personal relationship with God before now, you have not experienced it,these reasons I gave are just enough for you to decide and know why you should crave a personal relationship with God.


I hope you are now much aware why you should revive your relationship with God.
